What a boost to hear about record signups, crowds of canvassers and phone bankers, and increased enthusiasm from our California Grassroots Alliance partner groups. Hooray!
But to fully meet our Alliance mission, we must also focus beyond our Get Out the Vote work, and reach out beyond current voters. It’s time to engage the Californians who are not yet registered. Another fifteen to twenty thousand new blue and purple first-time voters could put all of our Sweep Six candidates over the top!
Last April, we projected about 216,000 more people might register as Democrats across our Sweep Six districts. So the Alliance partnered with partisan voter registration specialist Field Team 6 to acquire the email addresses of unregistered likely Democrats in the Sweep Six using their highly sophisticated new data scoring. This new predictive model yielded more than 57,000 names never before included in the Field Team 6 curated database. Each person will receive two custom-targeted emails in August and September and, if we have their cell number, will also receive two text messages from Field Team 6 leading directly to the California Secretary of State registration portal. After this outreach combination to curated lists, Field Team 6 typically sees one out of three who register either as a Democrat or No Party Preference.
The Alliance is so close to the $8,550 budget for this project, with $7,575 raised as of August 9 via the Power in the House kickoff fund. Can you help close the gap? When 39 friends of the Alliance chip in $25 each, we hit our goal!

Let’s deliver a powerful House majority to President Harris and Vice President Walz…because the road to the House majority runs through California!
